Understanding Women with Postnatal Trauma

Thousands of women in the UK suffer from trauma following difficulties and complications after childbirth, childhood abuse and abortions. However, this is often not recognized by health professionals. There is a lack of social awareness and training for medical staff on the treatment of women suffering with trauma. This workshop is designed for nurses, GPs, and midwifes in order to assist them in recognising the early signs of distress & how to approach these issues. Please see below for more information.

Healing the Past to stop the Cicle

This is a two half-day course run in two consecutive weeks where parents will learn how to find realistic solutions to everyday problems and see beneficial changes in their families. We will concentrate on old patterns of parenting and how to learn joyful parenting.

Price: £35 per person per day

Venue: Surbiton, Surrey. It could also be arranged at your premises if you have a group of 10 or more people

All profits raised in our workshops are used to assist women suffering from trauma. We are currently raising funds to build a designated counselling centre to be able to provide for a growing number of women needing counselling.
