Sponsor a Peruvian Child

Help Women and Children is a UK Christian support group that work in conjunction with Peruvian charity Help Children. Our aim is to give Peruvian children a good start in life, releasing them from poverty and enabling them to become fulfilled adults. By providing the necessary materials for them to attend school we change their future and the lives of their families. You can sponsor a child for £23 per month which covers cost of uniforms & school materials as well as basic healthcare. Noemi Chuquivala, Help Children Director, works with these families on a voluntary bases, her work involves counselling and coordination of activities.

We have chosen these children from low income mothers who have suffered physical, emotional abuse and trauma. Poverty adds to their distress. What Banks will never do-lend to the poor- we have done. With a little capital families have started small businesses bringing joy and hope to their lives. Some of their products are shown in this brochure & on our website.

Helping the whole family

Being a listening ear.- We have 15 families in our programme where they receive on going counselling. This work is done by constant visits and through the monthly therapeutic workshops at the office.

Promote small businesses.- We believe in these hard working women and we have invested in them with great success.
