Martha Jesty has always been readily available to assist and support me if I needed more information about a particular task. She also provided regular feedback of my work which helped clarify if I was doing a good job.

At Help Women and Children we are very grateful and appreciate the work of all their volunteers. We have volunteers in the UK and volunteers in Peru. None of the staff is paid or partially paid, our work is done exclusively by the people who appears in the description below.
Martha is in charged of the UK office for Help Women and Children and is Head of the project Birth Trauma Counselling. She is the author of Real Healing After Ceasarean, a book written to help women traumatized by childbirth and also to raise money for this charity.
Noemi is doing an amazing job in counselling every family on a regular basis. She personally supervises every child's wellbeing and cares for their future ensuring that each child riches to his/her full potential. She is the direct communication between child and sponsor.
David is the spiritual pastor for the families and project coordinator at the Lima office. He visit the families by foot and organizes family activites for them throught the year.
His greatest need is a car for the charity to visit the families who lives in remote places on the hills of Lima.
Nohelia help the office in Lima with translations of letters from the sponsors to the children (English into Spanish). She also helps running the office in Lima.
Subrahmanya Gayathree, known as Gachi, helps us to update and design some of the pages of this website and of our project Birth Trauma Counselling. Originally from India, she is a mother of two children.
Jo is a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. She helps counselling women traumatized by childbirth in our project Birth Trauma Counselling.
Sara is a qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP. She helps counselling women traumatized by childbirth in our project Birth Trauma Counselling.
Caroline is a qualified translator who translates letters sent by the children in Peru to their sponsors. She also translates chldren's annual reports. She has been volunteering with us since December 2009.
Daniel is a qulified translator who does the translations of letters from Peruvian children sent to their sponsors as well as their anual reports. He is recently working in a project translating a book into English.
